Jim Linn has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jim began their career in 1973 in the US Army as an Intelligence Interrogator, serving until 1981. After that, they joined Citicorp Retail Services, Inc as the Director of Risk Management from 1983 to 1987. In 1988, they held the role of Director of Operations at American General Finance for a brief period before moving to American Express as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Service, where they stayed for almost two decades until 2007. Currently, Jim is working at Essex Lake Group as a Client Lead since 2010.
Jim Linn has a BA degree in European History/Political Science, which they obtained from the University of Rhode Island between 1969 and 1973. Following this, they pursued a 32-week German language program at the Defense Language Institute-German in 1974, where they received a Certificate. In 1977, Jim undertook a 48-week Russian program at the Defense Language Institute - Russian, earning another Certificate. Later, in 1981, they attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business for an MBA degree in Operations Management, which they completed in 1982.
