Christina Coppola

Christina Coppola has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2015, they began their career at RWJBarnabas Health as a Financial Clearance Representative, where they worked until 2017. Following this, they worked as a Patient Care Representative at Virginia Hospital Center from 2017 to 2018. In 2020, they joined Essex, an Emmes Company, as a Bioinformatics Intern and later transitioned to the role of Bioinformatics Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Product Owner & Bioinformatics Scientist at the company.

Christina Coppola completed their Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from Georgetown University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2014 to 2016. Christina began their higher education journey at Ocean County College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in August 2021.
