Michelle Schifman

Michelle Schifman has over a decade of experience in property management, currently serving as General Manager at Essex Property Trust since October 2017, after previously holding the role of Sr. Community Manager. Prior to this, Michelle held the position of Community Manager at AvalonBay Communities from August 2015 to October 2017 and worked as a Community Manager at Equity Residential from February 2013 to May 2015. Michelle also served as Community Manager at Archstone during two separate tenures and gained early experience as an Assistant Property Manager and Leasing Consultant at Archstone. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics and a Minor in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara between 2005 and 2009.
