Ernesto Diaz

Ernesto Diaz has been with Essilor International since 2012, working their way up from Managing Director of Spain to Senior Vice President of Europe, and finally to President of LATAM. In this role, Diaz is responsible for all business units and operations in Latin America, which includes overseeing a budget of $600 million. Ernesto has been successful in turning around the business in Brazil, which was struggling when they took over in 2017. In addition to their responsibilities in LATAM, Diaz also oversees the global Kodak Lens business and the Mid Tier Project for the Essilor Group.

Ernesto Diaz studied industrial engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid before completing a management program at IE Business School. Ernesto then went on to complete a senior management program at INSEAD.

Their manager is Paul du Saillant, Chairman & CEO. They work with Éric Léonard - Chief Integration Officer and Corporate Strategy, Grita Loebsack - Chief Marketing Officer, and Bernhard Nuesser - President, AMERA - Online and Digital.
