Norbert Gorny

Norbert Gorny is the co-chief operating officer and director at Essilor Group. Norbert has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Gorny started out as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in 1994. Norbert then moved to ZEISS Group in 1998 and held the position of EVP until 2001. After that, they became an executive board member at the company until 2006. In 2006, they left ZEISS Group to become the CEO of Carl Zeiss Vision. Norbert then moved to AFRY in 2010 and became the EVP PÖRY. In 2011, they left AFRY to go back to Essilor Group where they have been ever since.

Norbert Gorny reports to Paul du Saillant, Chairman & CEO. Norbert Gorny works with Ernesto Diaz - President, LATAM, Grita Loebsack - Chief Marketing Officer, and Frédéric Mathieu - Corporate Senior Vice President, Human Resources.
