Magnus Groth

Magnus Groth is the current president and CEO of Essity. Magnus has held this position since January 2011. Prior to this, they were the president and CEO of SCA, a hygiene and forest products company. Magnus has also served as the president and CEO of Studsvik AB, and as the senior vice president of corporate development for Vattenfall Services Nordic AB. Groth began their career as a manager for Nordics at Enron, before moving to Vattenfall as the senior vice president of corporate strategy. Magnus then spent five years as a consultant and project manager at Boston Consulting Group before joining SCA in 2011.

Magnus Groth has a Master of Science in Avionics and Naval Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Economics and Business from Stockholm School of Economics.
