Carlos Vargas

Carlos Vargas has several years of work experience in procurement and strategic sourcing roles.

Currently, they are the Strategic Sourcing Manager at Establishment Labs, a position they assumed in September 2022.

Prior to this, Carlos worked as a Senior Sourcing Lead at GEP Worldwide from April 2022 to September 2022.

From August 2020 to April 2022, they served as a Vendor Manager LATAM at Amazon.

Before that, Carlos had a multi-role experience at Establishment Labs from July 2015 to August 2020. Carlos started as a Buyer and then progressed to become a Supply Chain Project Coordinator. Carlos'slast role at the company was Procurement Supervisor.

Carlos also worked at Boston Scientific as an MRO Buyer from July 2014 to June 2015.

Carlos Vargas' education history begins in 2011 when they enrolled at the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in 2015. Carlos then continued their education at the same institution and completed a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, Carlos attended the Antwerp Management School, where they pursued a Master in Global Supply Chain Management (Cum Laude) until 2018. Additionally, in October 2017, Carlos obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council.
