Gimena Vega Segura

Gimena Vega Segura currently works at Establishment Labs as an IT Security Analyst since November 2021. Before their current role, they gained experience at Walmart Technology, starting in June 2018 as a Data Center Support. Gimena then transitioned to the role of Networking Technician from May 2019 to March 2020. Finally, they served as a Security Analyst at Walmart Technology from March 2020 to November 2021.

Gimena Vega Segura obtained their Bachelor's degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications from CertiProf, including the Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC®) and the Scrum Product Owner Professional Certificate (SPOPC) in March 2023. Gimena also holds the Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification, obtained in January 2023, and the Lead Cybersecurity Professional Certificate (LCSPC™), acquired in June 2022.
