Carly Austin has several years of experience in the field of human resources and office management. Carly is currently serving as the Head of People & Culture at PQSA since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of People & Culture at PQSA from January 2020 to July 2022. Carly also has experience working as an HR Business Partner at SA Water from January 2018 to January 2020, and as a Human Resources Consultant at SA Water from October 2011 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Operations Manager at Locher Human Resources from July 2006 to October 2011. Carly started their career as a Personal Assistant/Training Coordinator at Intec Group from February 2005 to March 2006. Carly also worked as an Executive Assistant at Sarah Group Holdings from April 2004 to February 2005, and as an Office Manager at Brian Jeffriess & Associates from June 1998 to March 2004. Carly's early experience includes roles such as Office Manager/Conference Management/Manager Marketing at Hartley Management Group from June 1996 to June 1998.
Carly Austin received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Australia from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from Flinders University of SA from 1994 to 1995. Carly completed their secondary education at St Dominic's Priory College with a SACE Stage 1 & 2 (Matriculation) from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their academic qualifications, Carly has obtained certifications as an LSI1&2 and GSI from Human Synergistics Australia & NZ in 2023, and as an HBDI Accredited Facilitator & Coach from Hermann Australia in 2019.
