Cheryl Barnes

Cheryl Barnes has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Cheryl started their career as a Public Defender for Franklin County in Columbus, Ohio in 1993 and worked in this role until 1998. From 1998 to 2003, they served as a Staff Attorney at Covenant House Greater Washington. Since 2008, Cheryl has been working as the Chief Legal Officer at Estes Forwarding Worldwide, LLC (EFW).

Cheryl Barnes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Industrial Psychology from SUNY at Oneonta between 1985 and 1989. Following this, they pursued further education at Capital University Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree between 1992 and 1995.
