Silvia Sancho Hernando

Silvia Sancho Hernando is a geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Esteyco as an Ingeniera Geotécnica since July 2019. Previously, Silvia held the position of Ingeniera Geóloga at Sener, where responsibilities included geotechnical supervision for the CebuLink Expressway Project and the detailed design of international railway and highway projects. As a Geotechnical Team Leader at Eptisa, Silvia contributed to the Mersey Gateway Bridge project in Liverpool, UK. Early career roles included research at CEDEX in geotechnical behavior of high-speed railway platforms and report writing for LAV projects at INTECSA-INARSA. Silvia holds a Master's in Environmental Geology and Geological Resources, specializing in Geological Risks and Territorial Management, as well as a degree in Geological Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
