Gabriele Zangara

Gabriele Zangara is a visiting PhD at INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub since April 2024, and a PhD student and research fellow at the University of Calabria since September 2021. Gabriele serves as co-founder and CEO of Blue Innovation, starting in November 2022. Gabriele has been a football referee with Associazione Italiana Arbitri (AIA-FIGC) since November 2013 and actively participates in ESTIEM since May 2017, including a tenure as president of IGeA - ESTIEM LG Calabria from May 2017 to October 2022. Gabriele held the role of departmental advisor and students’ representative at the University of Calabria and engaged in student tutor roles for mathematics and physics. An Erasmus traineeship at Hunter Language School in 2019 involved evaluation of performance standards and social media strategy implementation. Educational qualifications include a Laurea Magistrale in Industrial Management and Innovation and a Laurea triennale in Management Engineering, both from the University of Calabria.
