Vanessa Raso has extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Vanessa'smost recent role includes serving as the Chief People & Culture Officer at EstimateOne since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief People Officer at Mable from May 2022 to August 2022.

Before joining Mable, Vanessa held the position of Executive Director of Culture and Performance at News Perform from March 2020 to April 2022. Vanessa also served as the Head of HR (Tech Team) at REA Group from January 2019 to March 2020.

In 2017, they became an Advisory Board Member at the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC), where they provided non-industry HR expertise as part of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee until August 2019. Vanessa also served as the Head of HR (Tech & Data) at Likewize from January 2018 to January 2019.

Prior to these roles, they were the Head of People & Culture at ANZIIF from June 2015 to January 2018. At the organization, they led the customer experience review of revenue lines, introduced customer experience mapping, and facilitated ideation sessions.

Before ANZIIF, Vanessa worked at AusNet Services, where they served as the Organisational Development and Change Manager in 2015, and as an HR Business Partner from August 2014 to February 2015. In these roles, they contributed to the development of various programs, including change management training and leadership development programs.

Vanessa began their career at Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) in 2005, where they held various positions such as Change Manager, Head of People & Culture, Head of Operations, Conciliation Manager, and Conciliator.

Outside of their professional work, Vanessa Raso has also worked as a BodyCombat Instructor at Fitness First Australia from 2002 to 2013.

Vanessa Raso has a diverse education history. In 1998, they started their higher education journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at The University of Queensland. Vanessa completed their LLB degree in 2002 and also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the same university during the same period.

In 2003, Vanessa attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and received certification as a Barrister. This certification furthered their knowledge and expertise in the field of law.

Vanessa's dedication to lifelong learning is evident in their recent pursuits. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate IV in Human Resources from The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), specializing in job valuations. In 2012, they completed a Change Management certification through The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

Continuing their professional development, Vanessa acquired a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Lean Sigma Institute in 2017. In 2018, they obtained an HR Practising Certificate from the Australian HR Institute. Vanessa further expanded their skill set in 2019 by completing a Design Thinking course at RMIT University and becoming a Prosci Change Management certified professional.

Vanessa Raso's dedication to enhancing organizational effectiveness is well-documented through various certifications. In 2020, they were accredited as an Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI) practitioner and a LIfe Styles Incentory (LSI) practitioner by Human Synergistics. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained a certification in Organisational Effectiveness from the University of Oxford.

Currently, Vanessa is attending The Life Coaching College, where they are working towards obtaining a Master Practitioner degree in High Performing Teams & Leadership Coaching. Vanessa has also completed a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner course at the same institution in 2023.
