Agnes Aljas

Agnes Aljas currently serves as an EMYA Jury member for the European Museum Forum since 2021, and holds the position of Research Secretary and Head of the Marketing Department at the Estonian National Museum since 2007. From June 2017 to June 2023, Agnes was the Chair of ICOM Estonia. Educational qualifications include a PhD candidacy at the University of Tartu from 2007 to 2009, and a Master of Arts in Etnology and Museology from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku (2002-2006), along with a Bachelor of Arts in Etnology, History, and Sociology from the University of Tartu (1995-2002).
