Marcel Schmitt

Marcel Schmitt is a Senior Cloud Solution Architect at ETAS since August 2022, focusing on developing scalable infrastructure and tools for software development based on Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments while ensuring compliance and security measures. Prior to this role, Marcel worked at Daimler Truck AG from March 2020 to July 2022 as a Principal Architect, developing a central customer database for Mercedes Benz Trucks, and as a Lead Software Architect for a new customer portal. Marcel's earlier experience includes positions at Festo as an IIoT/Cloud Software Developer, designing digital services, and at Daimler Fleetboard GmbH as a Fullstack Developer and JEE Software Developer, contributing to service migration, architecture, and microservices development. Marcel began the career at Festo as a Bachelor student and intern, focusing on adaptive user interfaces and cross-platform applications.
