Guillaume Verbiest

Guillaume Verbiest has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Guillaume began their career in 2002 as a Senior Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In 2005, they joined Etex as a Group Controller, responsible for financial control of several companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Guillaume continued to progress within Etex, taking on roles such as Finance Manager for Eastern Europe, Division Financial Manager, Etex Industry Regional Director, and Head of Finance Transformation. In these roles, Guillaume oversaw financial planning and analysis, managed working capital and cash flow, and implemented digital strategies to support business growth. Guillaume also had responsibilities in sales management and led teams across various territories. Most recently, Guillaume served as the Head of Finance Business Partnering at Etex Industry, providing strategic and financial support to division leaders.

Guillaume Verbiest has a diverse education history with a focus on business and management. In 1996, they attended Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management where they obtained an MA in Controlling & Marketing. Guillaume continued their education at the University of Bradford from 2001 to 2002, earning an MA in Finance & Accounting. In 2007, they attended Vlerick Business School and completed the Etex Management Programme in Business Administration and Management. In 2012, they pursued the Executive Master Class in Business Process Management at Vlerick Business School. More recently, in 2016, they participated in the Etex leadership programme at INSEAD. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certification from the Deloitte Next Generation CFO Academy in 2023.
