Churn Yuen Poon

Churn Yuen Poon is an experienced finance professional with extensive expertise in treasury, credit risk, and trade finance across various sectors, including commodities and petroleum. Currently serving as Head of Treasury for the APAC region at Export Trading Group since April 2022, Churn has previously held senior positions such as Head of Treasury at a Commodity Firm and Managing Partner at CGK Consultancy Pte Ltd. With a strong foundation built at COFCO International as Regional Treasurer for Asia Pacific and at BHP Billiton overseeing credit risk and trade finance, Churn has demonstrated proficiency in cash flow management, project financing, and developing financial strategies. Education includes a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
