Kaywan Afkhamie

Kaywan Afkhamie has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and communications. Kaywan started their career in 1995 as a Communications Engineer at Raytheon Canada. Kaywan then worked at Intellon Corporation from 2000 to 2009 as a Principal Research Engineer, where they contributed to the development and standardization of HomePlug AV technology. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Atheros Communications as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, focusing on research and development of power line communications systems. At Qualcomm, from 2011 to 2018, they served as a Senior Staff Engineer, working on systems development for Wi-Fi modems and MIMO PLC modems. Afterwards, they joined FutureWei Technologies in 2018 as a Principal Engineer. Currently, they work at Ethernovia as a DSP Engineering, starting in October 2019.

Kaywan Afkhamie completed their PhD in Signal Processing and Communications from McMaster University from 1995 to 1999.
