Alex Acosta

Alex Acosta is the current Chief Compliance Officer at Ethic. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Compliance for RTW Investments, LP from April 2020 to March 2021. Alex was also the Vice President of Legal & Compliance at Wafra Inc. from December 2015 to April 2018. Acosta began their career in compliance as an Associate at Goldman Sachs from August 2014 to December 2015. Alex then worked as an Operational Due Diligence Associate at Lyxor Asset Management from March 2013 to August 2014. In addition, they have experience as an intern and extern in the compliance field, having completed internships with UBS Investment Bank and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Alex Acosta has a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University. Alex has also studied abroad at the Dilit International School and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

They are on a team with Jay Lipman - Co-founder & President, Alex Laipple - Head of Growth & Distribution, and Alex Papageorgis - Head of Quantitative Investments. Their manager is Doug Scott, CEO & Co-Founder.
