Wale Tilahun Abate

Wale Tilahun Abate has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with ethio telecom since August 2003. Wale's roles have evolved from Junior to Senior Accountant, where responsibilities included various finance activities, to Deputy Division Manager for General Services, Facilities, and Sourcing at Ethiopian Telecom Corp from April 2008 to November 2010. Currently serving as Finance Manager, Wale oversees the adoption of IFRS, manages ERP (Oracle) Financials, CRM, cash management, and accounts reconciliations, while also focusing on monitoring, supervision, evaluation, and reporting. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Telecommunications and Information Technology, a degree in Accounting from Mekele University, and professional certifications from ACCA, including the DIPIFR in Finance.
