Nicholas J. Patts

Director, BELA Engagement at Ethisphere Institute

Nicholas Patts was born in North Africa Tripoli, Libya to Greek American parents where his father was working for a multi-national company. After returning to Dallas, Texas with his family, Mr. Patts attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Subsequently, he attended Texas A&M Law School where he received a Juris Doctor.

Upon graduation from Texas A&M, Mr. Patts moved to Washington, DC where he worked as a Congressional Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives focusing on review and responses to constituent correspondence. He later returned to Dallas to work as a regulatory compliance specialist with Centex Financial Services responding to state agency requests on mortgage lending activity.

Prior to joining Ethisphere, Mr. Patts worked with LexisNexis Risk Solutions Group for over 20 years in the areas of account management, training, consulting and sales. Regardless of the particular role, his focus was always on being in front of the client, building relationships, adding value and making sure the customers were satisfied with the corporate-client partnership.
