Nuurzahirah Ali

Nuurzahirah Ali has a diverse work experience in the field of research and due diligence. They started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2017. Later, they worked as a Research Analyst at Refinitiv from April 2019 to October 2020, where they conducted extensive media and internet searches on companies and individuals.

Currently, Nuurzahirah is working at ethiXbase as a Consultant, specializing in research for the Vcheck Global Team. They are responsible for reviewing research files and due diligence reports, ensuring high-quality reports for second-level review. They also provide training to keep the research team up to date. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Analyst at ethiXbase, focusing on companies and individuals located in the United States. Their key expertise includes comprehensive media and internet searches, property ownership checks, tax liens and financing checks, litigation and law enforcement checks, and professional license verification.

Nuurzahirah Ali pursued their education at the International Islamic University Malaysia. From 2007 to 2008, they completed a Foundation of Human Sciences degree with a focus on English. Nuurzahirah then went on to earn a Bachelor of Human Sciences degree in English Linguistics and Literature from 2008 to 2013. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained a Master of Human Sciences degree in English Literature from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Nuurzahirah Ali has also obtained several certifications. In January 2014, they successfully completed the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) administered by ETS. In February 2014, they attained the Scholarship Talent Attraction & Retention-Graduate Employability Management Scheme (STAR-GEMS) certification from Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp). In April 2019, they obtained a certification in Financial Crimes and Anti-Money Laundry (AML) from Thomson Reuters. More recently, in October 2020, they completed a certification in Developing Your Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn. Lastly, in November 2020, they obtained a certification in Building Resilience, also from LinkedIn.
