Andrew Slade

Andrew Slade currently serves as Chief of Staff for Strategy & Business Operations at Ethos since September 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Growth Investor at Sapphire Ventures from January 2022 to September 2024, where investments included Glean, Kong, and Weights & Biases. Andrew’s experience also encompasses a position in Corporate Development at VMware, where acquisitions included Ananda Networks and Datera, in addition to strategic initiatives in cloud management and security. Earlier experience includes investment banking at Intrepid Investment Bankers and a role as Head of Sales and Marketing at Cheers. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a focus on Computer Science and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University.
