Kevin Chan is the current VP of Product, Partnerships & New Ventures at Ethos Life. Kevin was previously the Head of Product for Uber Eats Marketplace from March 2016 to July 2021. During their time at Uber, Kevin led the delivery logistics that fulfilled a billion orders per year. Kevin also managed the Uber membership subscription with millions of members, global pricing algorithms, consumer pricing experiences, and promotions with a budget of over a billion dollars annually. In addition, Kevin was in charge of the ML/prediction platforms for the marketplace. Overall, they helped customers and businesses grow 2.5 times from $20 billion to $50 billion GMV. Kevin recruited and grew the product team by 4 times during their time at Uber.

In addition to leading the Uber Eats Marketplace, Kevin also oversaw rider fares for the Uber rides product. This included rider upfront pricing, rider promotions, and fare generation platform. With price being the most important deciding factor for riders, Kevin provided a clear and compelling upfront price experience. Kevin also built a targeted promotions platform and personalized user experience to efficiently deploy annual spend to encourage user engagement. Furthermore, Kevin scaled the critical platform for fare calculation of all Uber transactions and upgraded compliance capabilities as part of IPO preparations.

Kevin Chan has a Masters of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
