Robert Broesler, Jr.

Robert Broesler, Jr. is the current VP & GM of Partnerships at Ethos Life. Prior to their current position, they worked at Zillow from January 2019 to December 2021 as the Sr. Director of Mortgage Analytics and Business Operations. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations and annual strategic planning for the Marketplace business, working with a variety of teams including product, engineering, sales, finance, marketing, and legal. Robert also helped launch and grow the Connect product, Zillow's largest Marketplace lead generation product, and led the company's early Conversion Rate Optimization efforts which resulted in a 50%+ improvement in conversion rates. Additionally, Broesler developed the strategy for Marketplace lead pricing, distribution, and how Zillow Home Loans interacts with Zillow's Mortgage Marketplace to ensure long term growth for both businesses.

Robert Broesler, Jr. earned their Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Robert also holds an M.S. in Materials Science from UC Berkeley, and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Columbia Engineering.
