Shamar Knight-Justice

Shamar Knight-Justice is an experienced educational leader currently serving as School Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Ethos Classical since June 2019. Previously, Shamar held multiple roles at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, including Assistant Principal and Partner Teacher Coordinator, where responsibilities involved managing partner teachers and supporting school-wide initiatives. Prior experience includes teaching 3rd grade math at DC Prep, achieving notable student success on assessments, and serving as School Director at Marianna Bracetti Academy through Teach For America. Shamar also contributed as a 6th Grade Math/ELA Teacher and Grade Level Chair at Democracy Prep Congress Heights Public Charter School, in addition to teaching 8th grade English at KIPP Charlotte, where recognition included receiving the Food Lion Outstanding Teacher Award and leading significant student growth. Shamar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
