Harsha Gamaethige

Harsha Gamaethige has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Harsha started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Senior Accountant and gained experience in external audits for various clients. Harsha then moved on to ING OFFICE FUND, where they worked as a Financial Accountant, focusing on consolidation accounts and assisting the Financial Controller. At Citi, Harsha held multiple roles, including Senior Regulatory Accountant and Legal Entity Manager, where they played a crucial role in generating accurate financial results and providing analysis to senior management. Harsha then joined OnDeck Australia as a Financial Controller before moving to their current position at etika, where they serve as the Global Finance Director, responsible for developing and implementing business and finance strategies.

Harsha Gamaethige obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kelaniya Vishwavidyalaya in 2004. Harsha then pursued additional education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, where they gained further expertise in their field. In 2008, they enrolled in the University of Technology Sydney to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Commercial Law and Accounting. Harsha completed this program in 2009. In the same year, Harsha also attended CPA Australia for some unspecified coursework. Later on, in 2012, they attended the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and successfully earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
