Alyssa Newell has a diverse work experience in the field of training and marketing. Alyssa began their career in 2008 as a Summer Marketing Intern at Live Nation, where they requested and reviewed promotions and assisted with day-of-show activities. Alyssa then worked as a Summer Marketing Intern at Ticketmaster in 2009, where they manipulated templates for email campaigns and updated website content.
From 2009 to 2013, Alyssa served as a Marketing Assistant at Live Nation, developing targeted marketing campaigns and managing street team marketing for live music events. Alyssa later became the Assistant Box Office Manager at Walnut Creek, where they assisted customers with ticket orders and managed box office operations and staff.
In 2013, Alyssa joined Etix as a Training Coordinator, where they ensured that users understood the product through technical documentation and coordinated client training requests and webinars. Alyssa then progressed to the role of Client Trainer, conducting individual training sessions and collaborating with product and development teams to implement training on product releases. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Senior Client Trainer at Etix, where they served as a subject matter expert and provided training through various channels to help clients leverage the Etix product.
Most recently, Alyssa has taken on the role of Director of Training at Etix, starting in 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing training initiatives and ensuring that users have a comprehensive understanding of the product.
Alyssa Newell attended North Carolina State University from 2007 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Marketing.
