Huseyin Ozpay

Huseyin Ozpay has a strong background in IT and software development, with over 30 years of experience in various roles. Huseyin began their career as an Analyst Programmer at Guven Bilgisayar, where they developed customer-specific applications using C and C-Tree file management system. At MSM, they worked as a Software Development Engineer, taking part in medium and large-scale software projects and using Oracle database, Oracle Developer/2000, and Oracle Designer/2000. Later, they joined Batelco as an IT Consultant, where they developed customer-specific modules and enhanced existing applications using Oracle Developer/2000 and Oracle Designer/2000. Huseyin then worked at UUNET (WorldCom EMEA Network Services) as a Senior Software Engineer, developing software tools to support Netcool/OMNIbus network management system and applications for internal use. At Orange, they served as a Datawarehouse Database Administrator and was involved in the design and development of the Orange NL datawarehouse project. Huseyin also worked at T-Systems as a Datawarehouse Production DBA, providing on-call support for the production datawarehouse system. At Altran, they served as a Lead Consultant from 2002 to 2010. At Atos, they worked as a Senior IT Consultant, providing on-site technical support for Turkcell's Billing & Charging department and serving as an Oracle DBA and UNIX System Administrator. Currently, they are employed at Etiya as a Database and Middleware Systems Manager, leading a team tasked with setting up, optimizing, securing, and tuning databases, middleware, and Linux servers in both public cloud and on-premises environments. Huseyin has worked with a variety of technologies and platforms, including Linux, Database and Middleware servers such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and Nginx. Huseyin has also migrated applications to AWS cloud and provided technical assistance for development teams regarding databases and performance tuning.

Huseyin Ozpay attended Yildiz Technical University from 1984 to 1989, where they studied Computer Science Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Oracle Certified Professional WebLogic 12c Administrator (1Z0-134) from Oracle in February 2020, OCA as WebLogic Server Administrator (1Z0-102) from Oracle in January 2015, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2014, Apache Hadoop Administrator from Cloudera in December 2012, and OCP as Oracle Database Administrator from Oracle in July 2008.
