Nilay Yilmaz has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Nilay worked as a Test Engineer at TelSim Telecom from September 1999 to January 2004. After that, they joined Sabanci Telekomunikasyon Hizmetleri A.S. as a BSS Manager from January 2004 to September 2008. Subsequently, they worked at Innova as a Senior Project Manager from September 2008 to December 2013. Nilay then joined Vodafone as a CRM Manager and worked there from January 2014 to January 2019. Currently, they are employed at Etiya as a Senior Service Delivery Manager starting from January 2019.
Nilay Yilmaz graduated from Kustanaiskij Gosudarstvennyj Universitet im. Ahmet Baitursynova in 2010 with a degree in Bilgisayar Mühendisliği (Computer Engineering). Nilay achieved a GPA of 3.15 out of 4.00 during their time at the university. Prior to that, they attended Anadolu Üniversitesi from 1995 to 1999, where they received a degree in İstatistik (Statistics) with a GPA of 4.67 out of 5.00.
