Joe Burrows

Joe Burrows is an experienced educational professional currently serving as Director of Studies and Head of Modern Languages & Cultures at Eton College since September 2012. In addition to these roles, Joe has held various responsibilities including Assistant Housemaster at South Lawn House, and participation in committees such as the Academic Development Committee and the Teaching & Learning Group. Previously, Joe was Head of Russian and taught Russian and French, also serving as Assistant Housemaster and coaching sports teams. Joe's earlier experience includes teaching positions at Ipswich School and Petrozavodsk State University, as well as a leadership role in the Russian Teachers' Group. Joe holds an MA from the University of Oxford and a PGCE from The University of Sheffield, along with a CELTA certification.
