Michal Efrat

Michal Efrat is a seasoned professional in product governance and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Product Governance - Compliance and Compliance Officer at eToro since July 2021. Previously, Michal led the Research Department at the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority (IMPA) from August 2020 to June 2021. With a strong background in risk management, Michal held senior managerial positions at KPMG Israel from September 2015 to July 2020, focusing on advisory services for financial institutions, and served as a Market & Liquidity Risk Manager at Discount Bank between December 2011 and September 2015. Earlier experience includes managing SOX projects at Phoenix Insurance Ltd. and BDO - Ziv Haft. Michal holds an MBA in Financial Engineering and a BA in Biology and Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
