Michael Sije

Michael Sije is an accomplished IT professional with over 12 years of extensive experience in database and Unix administration, specializing in Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL Enterprise, and Sybase ASE. Currently serving as the Enterprise Database Lead at eTranzact International PLC since February 2015, Michael takes the technical lead on projects and facilitates technical implementations. Previously, as a Technical and Functional Consultant at Jetlink Nigeria Limited, responsibilities included overseeing database administration, project delivery, and technology execution. Michael’s expertise extends to AML and Fraud Analytic solutions, with proven implementation skills in Oracle Financial and Compliance Management across West Africa. Earlier positions include Head of Technical at Firstlogic, focusing on IT training and database configuration, and Technical Team Lead at Integral Technologies, where Michael also served as an Oracle University Instructor. Michael holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science from Obafemi Awolowo University.
