Carlos Ubeda Cuadrado

Carlos Úbeda Cuadrado is a data interoperability and market expert currently working at EU DSO Entity since October 2023. Previously, Carlos served as a power system engineer at Coreso SA from November 2021 to October 2023, focusing on regional security coordination in the Western European electrical grid and contributing to the development of electric power systems-related tools. Between December 2019 and November 2021, Carlos operated and analyzed markets at OMIE, managing the day-ahead European Electricity Market and the organized gas market for Spain and Portugal. Carlos began the career path as a research assistant at the Spanish National Research Council in 2019 and has also gained experience as a project intern at SOLIDA Renewable Energies and as a tutor for North American engineering students in Madrid. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Master in Renewable Energy and Energy Markets from EOI Business School, and ongoing studies for a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
