Layla Sousou

Layla is Vice President and Claims Counsel based at EMEA’s office in London. In this role, she focuses on assessing and processing claims efficiently and on ensuring that all clients receive a fair, effective resolution to any issues. Prior to joining the team, Layla specialised in complex, high-value litigation and cross-border arbitration. She has experience in a broad range of commercial disputes ranging from fraud and white collar crime to finance and insurance. Layla trained and qualified at a City firm, where she also spent 6 months working in Dubai, before joining a specialised litigation boutique for 4 years. She received her High Rights of Audience (Civil) in 2020. After earning a law degree from the University of Nottingham, Layla worked at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
