Nate Pieske

Nate Pieske serves as the Traffic Safety Unit Supervisor at the Eugene Police Department, where responsibilities include overseeing the Motor Unit and managing emergency vehicle operations training. With experience spanning over two decades, Nate plans driver training programs, supervises instructors, develops policies for vehicle pursuits, and analyzes crash reports to mitigate risk. Additionally, Nate holds leadership positions as President of the North American Motor Officers Association and Vice President for the Department of Public Safety Standards & Training, while also contributing as a Senior EVOC instructor. Previous roles include Patrol Sergeant, Background Investigator, and Deputy Sheriff at the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
