Ignacio González López

Ignacio González López has over 20 years of work experience in IT management and engineering. Ignacio worked as an IT Director at Terma GmbH, where they were responsible for projects and services for various space customers. Ignacio was also involved in business development and overall strategies for Terma Germany. At EUMETSAT, Ignacio served as a Service Delivery Manager and CSM IT Support, managing a team of 9 members and providing technical support as a 3rd line engineer. Ignacio worked as a System Administrator at the GNU Project, contributing to the growth of the Spanish free software community. Ignacio was an IT Senior Engineer at Qindel, where they were responsible for engineering developments on Vodafone's MM3/4 interface and antispam servers. Finally, at iSOCO, Ignacio started as an IT consultant and later became an IT Manager, responsible for internal IT services in multiple locations and managing a team of three consultants. Ignacio supported projects and deployed infrastructure and web applications for clients.

Ignacio González López completed their education at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1998 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Tecnico in the field of Informatica de Sistemas. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation from PECB, obtained in June 2020, the SUSE CLA 12 and SUSE CLP 12 certifications from SUSE, obtained in November 2015, and the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN, obtained in September 2012.
