Michela Sunda

Michela Sunda has work experience in the field of satellite data processing and quality control. Michela started their career at Serco in 2003 as an Envisat Data Processing and Quality Control Operations Engineer, where they worked until 2008. Michela then became the Envisat Instrument Processing Facilities and Quality Control Tools Manager until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Michela served as the GMES Service Projects Coordinated Interface (SCI) Operations Manager at Serco. In 2011, they joined Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH as the GMES Sentinel-3 Instrument Processing Facilities Technical Officer. Since 2014, Michela has been working at EUMETSAT as an EPS-SG System Engineer.

Michela Sunda completed their MSc in Electronic Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari from 1993 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at the same university from 1999 to 2002.
