Nuno Alexandre

Nuno Alexandre has extensive work experience in software configuration management and change management. Nuno started their career as a Software Developer at Novabase, where they implemented a Java tool for source code metrics and added new features to the CVS Configuration Management Tool. Nuno then moved to Sonaecom, where they served as a Build & Configuration Manager for Optimus mobile operator. In this role, they provided support, guidance, and administration for configuration management tools and implemented the organization's configuration management policy and standards. Nuno also evaluated existing configuration management systems and proposed improvements.

Nuno later joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Senior Configuration Manager at Noesis. Here, they developed tools in C#, Perl, and Visual Basic to automate customization, integration, and maintenance tasks. Nuno also worked at Portugal Telecom as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for managing the installation and maintenance of applications in Microsoft environments.

Moving forward, Nuno took on roles at ZON Multimedia and Sonaecom as a Senior Configuration Manager at Noesis, where they focused on deploying source control capabilities, managing software packages, and automating software development, compilation, and deployment processes.

Nuno then joined P3 Ingénieurs SAS as a Senior Configuration Manager at AIRBUS, where they provided configuration management support and consultation for the A350 Fuselage and Cabin. Nuno supported customer processes, methods, and tools, and worked on process improvement, training development, and deployment.

Nuno's most recent position was at EUMETSAT, where they served as a Copernicus CSM Software Librarian. Their responsibilities included change management, software configuration management, software build management, software integration, software installation, and rollout. Nuno also worked on anomaly, problem, and change management, and identified and fixed problems and anomalies on test and operational systems.

Nuno Alexandre completed their education in Software Engineering at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Nuno obtained a BSc (5 Years Degree) in Software Engineering from 1995 to 2002. Later, they pursued a post-graduate degree in Software Engineering from 2004 to 2005 at the same institution.
