Pierre Dussarrat (PhD) has work experience as a Remote Sensing Scientist at EUMETSAT since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Optics Engineer (AIT) at Sophia Engineering from March 2018 to May 2019. Pierre also has experience as a Doctoral Physics Degree (Quantum Physics PhD) at Université Paris-Saclay - Laboratoire Charles Fabry from September 2014 to November 2017, where they were responsible for upgrading and conducting experiments on Quantum Mechanics. Additionally, they worked as an Internship Trainee at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from May 2014 to September 2014.

Pierre Dussarrat (PhD) completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2009 to 2011, Pierre attended Lycée Champollion where they pursued Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles (CPGE) with a focus on Sciences physiques.

In 2011, Pierre enrolled at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School and obtained an Engineering Degree in Optics and Photonics, Sciences of light. Their studies at the institute continued until 2014.

Simultaneously, from 2012 to 2014, Pierre also pursued a Master's degree in Fundamental physics and nano-technology at Université Paris-Saclay.

Furthermore, Pierre has acquired additional certification in Optical system design with Zemax OpticStudio. Pierre completed this certification in October 2021, offered by Zemax, LLC.
