Silvia Carosi

Silvia Carosi began their work experience as an Engineer at Telespazio VEGA Deutschland GmbH in 2008. Silvia was a member of the Earth Observation Systems team and was responsible for software development, analysis, debugging, software version control, releases distribution, and documentation. Silvia held this role until 2012 when they became a Software Engineer at the same company. In 2020, Silvia transitioned to the role of IV&V System Engineer at Advanced Computer Systems A.C.S. Srl and maintained this position until 2023. Currently, they work at EUMETSAT as a Ground Segment System Engineer starting in 2023.

Silvia Carosi earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma between 2001 and 2005. Silvia then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they completed a Post Graduate Master's program in Space and Communication Systems at Telespazio from 2007 to 2008.
