Josephine Hannay

Josephine Hannay serves as the European Projects Senior Manager at Euractiv, a position held since February 2019, where coordination of a team for the submission and implementation of various EU and publicly funded projects is a primary responsibility. Previous roles at Euractiv include European Projects Manager and European Projects Assistant, focusing on research, drafting proposals, active project implementation, and liaising with European Commission project officers. Prior to joining Euractiv, Josephine was a Bluebook Stagiaire in DG REGIO at the European Commission, working on regional development projects in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. Academic qualifications include an MSc in International Business Management with Project Management from Heriot-Watt University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of Dundee, alongside an European Baccalaureate from Ecole Européenne de Bruxelles II.
