Christina Nickolova Caia

Christina Nickolova CAIA has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Christina started their career as a FX trading summer intern at Unicredito Group in 2005. From there, they worked as an FX Options Trader at Lehman Brothers from 2006 to 2008. Christina then joined TD Securities as an EM FX Options Trader from 2008 to 2010, followed by a role as Director of FX Options Trading at Sberbank CIB from 2010 to 2011. Christina then moved on to roles in RV CAPITAL LTD as a Portfolio Manager from 2013 to 2017 and in Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking as Vice President in Macro Sales from 2017 to 2018 and Vice President in Emerging Markets Sales from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they worked as a Vice President at Renaissance Capital from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Christina holds the position of Director of Global Markets Advisory at Eurasia Group, starting in July 2021.

Christina Nickolova CAIA has a diverse educational background. Christina received their MBA from INSEAD in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College from 2002 to 2006. In 2003, Christina participated in the Summer Immersion Programme at Kyushu University, where they studied Japanese Language and Literature. Before their undergraduate studies, they completed the International Baccalaureate program at UWC-USA from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Christina has also pursued additional certifications. Christina obtained the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level 5 certification from Confucius Institute Online in September 2019. In June 2018, they obtained the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association.
