Graeme Thompson

Senior Analyst, Global Macro at Eurasia Group

Graeme Thompson is a seasoned analyst with expertise in global macro issues, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Eurasia Group since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Ernest May Fellow in History and Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, contributing to the International Security Program and the Applied History Project, as well as serving as a Policy Analyst at Global Affairs Canada. In addition, Graeme Thompson has held positions as a Visiting Junior Fellow at the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History and a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, where involvement included leadership in the Transnational and Global History Seminar. Educational qualifications encompass a DPhil in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Theory and History of International Relations from LSE, and a BA with Honors in Political Science from Western University.
