Rafaela Zuidema-Blomfield

Rafaela Zuidema-Blomfield has a robust background in international relations and public policy, with extensive experience in editorial roles and advisory positions. Currently serving in the Editorial department at Eurasia Group since January 2022, Rafaela previously held a Senior Advisor role at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change from January 2018 to August 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Political Officer at the U.S. Department of State from July 2011 to December 2017, where responsibilities involved reporting and coordinating engagement on key political and economic developments. Additional experiences include summer fellowships with the U.S. Mission to UNESCO and the Office of the Secretary of State. Rafaela holds a Master in Public Policy with a focus on International and Global Affairs from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations and Modern Middle Eastern Studies.
