Alma Omarova

Alma Omarova has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. Alma worked as the Head of Legal Branch at Eurasian Development Bank starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they were the Head of the Legal Department at the Integrated Securities Registrar JSC since January 2013. Alma also served as the Head of Legal and HR at Business Applications Solutions from May 2019 to December 2019. Alma Omarova's earlier experiences include being the Head of Legal Department at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange from January 2019 to April 2019. Alma worked as the Chief Manager at Korgan Kazatomprom Ltd from November 2009 to January 2013, and as the Chief Specialist at the Justice Department from September 2004 to October 2009.

Alma Omarova has a Bachelor's degree in Law from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which they completed between 1999 and 2003. Alma then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law at KIMEP from 2014 to 2017.
