Issam Mehanna

Issam Mehanna is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and fiber optics industry. Currently serving as an International Fiber Optic Instructor at FiberOptic.com, Issam teaches various fiber optic courses, including certified fiber optic installer and specialized installer for oil and gas. Previously, Issam spent over two decades at OGERO, where roles included Strategic Planner and Consultant to the Chairman, Commercial Director, and Point of Sales Manager, focusing on national FTTX project implementation and product development. Additional experience includes positions at Norconsult Telematics Ltd as Outside Plant Design Supervisor, M.I. Tel as Owner/Managing Director, and Southern New England Telephone Co as Senior Project Engineer. Issam holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
