Vivien Chan

Vivien Chan has over 20 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Vivien began their career in 1997 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. In 1998, they joined Chiron Corporation as a Research Scientist in Oncology Target Discovery. In 2006, they moved to Novartis as a Director of Oncology Bioinformatics and a Senior Research Investigator in Bioinformatics. Most recently, they have worked for Eureka Therapeutics, Inc. since 2014, first as Chief Operating Officer and later as Vice President of Portfolio Management.

Vivien Chan obtained their High School degree from St. Paul's Co-Educational College in 1985. Vivien then went on to The College of Wooster, where they earned a BA in Chemistry (major) and Mathematics (minor) in 1989. After that, they attended the University of California, San Francisco and earned their PhD in Biochemistry in 1996. Vivien Chan also attended Maryknoll Sisters School at some point, but no degree or field of study is specified.
