Esther Cortez

Esther Cortez has a diverse range of work experience. Esther started their career as a CNA at MCPS - Medical Careers Program from August 2011 to May 2012. Esther then worked as a Peer Mentor for TRiO Achieve - SSS at Salisbury University from August 2014 to May 2016, where they provided mentorship to underrepresented college students and facilitated workshops on various subjects. Following that, they held the role of Administrative Coordinator at EurekaFacts for two months in 2016. Esther later became a Research Assistant at EurekaFacts from January 2017 until April 2021, where they developed communication and recruitment materials and data collection instruments. Currently, they are working as a Research Analyst at EurekaFacts, focusing on in-depth interviews and focus groups.

Esther Cortez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology at Salisbury University from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including NVivo Core Skills (Windows) from QSR International in April 2022, Basic Life Skills from Red Cross Blood Services in July 2016, and Certified Nursing Assistant from the Maryland Board of Nursing in March 2013.
