Kalina Natcheva-Acar

Kalina Natcheva-Acar has significant work experience in quantitative analysis and research. Kalina started their career as a Research Scientist at Fraunhofer ITWM in 2002 and worked there until 2010. During this time, they also had short-term roles as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Kalina joined Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, focusing on the valuation of financial instruments. Kalina worked at the bank for nine years, until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Risk Methodology OTC at Eurex Clearing, where they have been working since September 2019.

Kalina Natcheva-Acar completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 1995 to 2000. Kalina then pursued a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Mathematics at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 2000 to 2006.
